Publishers Weekly called it “an enjoyable, eccentric read, distinguished by well-developed characters, a believable Welsh setting, and some very creepy monsters.”

This second novel begins in 1940, immediately after the first book ended. Having escaped Miss Peregrine’s island by the skin of their teeth, Jacob and his new friends must journey to London, the peculiar capital of the world. Along the way, they encounter new allies, a menagerie of peculiar animals, and other unexpected surprises.

  1. My superpower of choice is to fly!

I followed you on Twitter, Facebook, and have also updated my Facebook status!

  2. My superpower, if I could pick, would be the same as Emma’s. Having fire in the palm of my hand would be neat, though I can imagine it’d have it’s problems. 🙂

  3. My superpower is teleporting! Just watched The Tomorrow People on the CW and it made teleporting look so awesome! Moving stuff with your mind is also cool too!

  4. My superpower of choice would have to be flying!
To fulfill my wish to travel would be amazing, not to mention I could go on more adventures with friends since I have an easy mode of transportation! c:

  5. My super power would have to be flying! Judt the sheer thought of being able to travel wherever I wanted to. Who needs cars and gasoline when you can fly?
