Waiting on Wednesday: ‘The Afterlife of Holly Chase’ by Cynthia Hand

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly series hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming book releases we can’t wait to get our hands on.

This week’s Waiting on Wednesday pick has a super ridiculous premise that we’re  100% behind: The Afterlife of Holly Chase by Cynthia Hand.

One of the authors of My Lady Jane — which explains the bonkers presence — The Afterlife of Holly Chase follows an entity who spends her afterlife stuck as the Ghost of Christmas Past.

It’s basically Dead Like Me meets A Christmas Carol, and we can definitely get behind that premise.

The Afterlife of Holly Chase hits shelves on October 24, 2017, just in time for the start of the Christmas season.
